Apex Legends May Be Getting a Rift-Manipulating Legend Named Alter If the latest rumors are to be believed, Respawn Entertainment has an intriguing new legend in the works for Apex Legends. Allegedly codenamed “Alter,” this rumored legend seems to have abilities that manipulate rifts and voids for unique mobility and utility options. Alter’s Rumored Abilities: Passive – Gift from the Rift Alter can remotely interact with and loot one item from a deathbox, excluding armor pieces. This could provide her team with a strategic advantage in recovering valuable gear. Tactical – Void Passage Her tactical ability creates a portal passageway through surfaces, potentially allowing Alter and her teammates to bypass terrain or take unexpected flanking routes. Ultimate – Void Nexus Alter’s ultimate is called Void Nexus, which lets her create a “regroup point.” Allies can then remotely open a phase tunnel back to this location, enabling quick rotations or retreats. If these ability leaks are accurate, Alter could shake up Apex’s meta with her unique rift and void manipulation skills. Hypothetically bypassing obstacles, recovering loot safely, and having an on-demand regroup option are tantalizing prospects. However, it’s important to note that these are just unverified rumors at this stage. Respawn has not officially confirmed or detailed any new legend named Alter. Fans should take this with a grain of salt until there’s official confirmation from the developers. Regardless, the concept of a rift and void-bending legend does sound incredibly cool and could open up new strategical gameplay possibilities in the Outlands if executed properly. Apex players are surely hoping for there’s truth behind these Alter rumors and leaks.
Ghost Of Tsushima Is Coming To PC!
Ghost of Tsushima is the latest PlayStation exclusive coming to PC, with its Director’s Cut edition arriving May 16. Revealed on the PlayStation Blog and with a Steam page, open-world samurai game Ghost of Tsushima will be available alongside its Iki Island expansion and online cooperative mode Legends in one package, currently listed at $59.99 in the U.S. and £49.99 in the UK on Steam. The PC version supports upscaling and frame generation technologies like NVIDIA DLSS 3, AMD FSR 3, and Intel XeSS alongside NVIDIA Reflex and image quality enhancing NVIDIA DLAA. No system requirements were shared.
